We aim to promote and preserve the use of traditionally-styled custom cars and motorcycles. We exist to build, wrench on and drive or ride our cars and bikes.
We don't give a shit what other clubs do or say. We don't sit around talking about cars or bikes, unless we are swinging spanners and beer is involved. If this doesn't sound like you, don't apply. If we don't know you personally, you WILL be asked to attend a run or event so we can check you out. If you don't fit in, then you will not be invited to join. If you think that makes us a bunch of arseholes, feel free to set up your own car club. If you want to join just to put your car on a Club Permit, fuck off.
Club activities and communication are loosely co-ordinated via our Facebook Group. If you don't use Facebook, get the fuck on board. The Secretary uses it to communicate with members, so you'll miss out on all the cool shit that comes via Facebook. Except for a requirement for an Annual General Meeting, we do not have any bullshit formal meetings, or club requirements that you turn up on runs.
The only official club position is Secretary, which is required under the Associations Incorporation legislation. That means we don't do club politics....period.
We take thirty members only, which is the number we have nominated to VicRoads. We'll probably keep it under twelve just to keep the bullshit to a minimum.
